FAQ
Can I be a mod?
Nope!Where will the proceeds go?
This project is aiming to raise funds for the SMB Movie Archive's efforts to preserve movie props and memorabilia from the movie.
You can find more information on the Archive through Twitter or their website! How do I participate?
Contributor applications open from now until September 23, after which the mod team will be reviewing all applications and notifying applicants of their acceptance or rejection via email. What kind of work will be featured in the zine?
This being a digital project, we are planning to try including a wider range of media than just art. Depending on what results we see from the interest check, you can expect illustrations, 3d works, cosplay, writing, or animation. Will there be any legal issues?
Since this is a non-profit project we don't expect any issues to arise legally. Will there be a Discord server for the project?
We plan to have a Discord server for contributors once applications have been opened and artists have been accepted. In other words there will be a server exclusive to contributors, not open to the public.Worldwide shipping?
Since the zine is planned to be digital, there is no need for shipping. However, in the event that we reach a certain sales goal and are able to also sell physical merchandise, shipping will likely be limited to the US and Canada (subject to change). Will this be the best-selling zine of all time?
We sure hope so
